Seetha Lakshmi
Seetha Lakshmi is a qualified musician who has trained under many expert Gurus in the field of Carnatic Music for fourteen years. What excites her about Gurukuls is that one can learn to sing their favorite songs as well as enjoy their learning with the Gurus at Gurukul.
Seetha’s entry into the line of teaching Carnatic music occurred during her college days when she started spreading her knowledge in music to her family and friends out of sheer love for music. A humble effort to create awareness about music to interested people in her social circle, led to pursuing teaching music in the long run.
Achievements
- Apart from bagging a whole lot of accolades in her younger days, including AIR,
- She has also participated in and won at the district level for music in Keralotsavam.
- She also tried her hand in performing for the small screen and performed live classical concerts.
- She has given her voice to two Kannada songs and has sung in a few Kannada and Hindi albums as well.

Jayanthi Raghavan
Jayanthi is a trained classical singer with Senior Degree certificate from Karnataka University. Her journey has been nurtured under the guidance of esteemed mentors, Guru Smt. Rukmini Ammal and Smt. Seetha Rajan.
To her, Gurukul represents a music platform that offers extensive opportunities to tailor training according to individual student needs, spanning diverse categories and languages. Moreover, it comes with the added advantage of providing exposure to stage performances. In essence, Gurukul offers a holistic package of music combined with enjoyment.
She believes in the act of passing on knowledge and practices that by teaching music.

- Trained classical singer and a Guru.
- Qualified Senior Exam under Bangalore University.
- Performed in AIR Bangalore as a Junior Artist.
- Winner of Sun TV Sapthaswarangal.

Manju Menon
Manju Menon, hails from Kerala. After 14 years of training in Carnatic music, Manju started teaching out of her love for Indian music. In her quest to impart her musical knowledge to fellow enthusiasts, she joined Gurukul, which, in her opinion, stands as the ultimate platform for such dedicated students.
In her own words, “Students are different and so are their likings. One may love to sing classical songs or light music. These diverse personal choices are honored in Gurukul. We strive to understand each student, teaching them according to their inclinations. However, all our students receive a solid foundation in the basics of music.”
Achievements
- In 1996 she passed light music audition at All India Radio.
- She is currently a B-High Artist and a Casual Announcer.
